New Elective Opportunity in Ottawa
Aesthetic medicine elective established in Canada for our future medical doctors.
Saba University School of Medicine (SUSOM) is proud to announce the launch of Advanced Aesthetic Medicine, our newest elective option for Doctor of Medicine (MD) program participants.
Offered in partnership with Victoria Park Medispa in Ottawa, this collaboration provides our students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aesthetic medicine alongside leading dermatologists, plastic surgeons and specialized nursing staff.
âWe are thrilled to introduce the Advanced Aesthetic Medicine elective in partnership with Victoria Park Medispa in Ottawa. This collaboration reflects Saba University School of Medicineâs commitment to providing our learners with access to cutting-edge clinical training led by nationally recognized experts,â shared the Honourable Chuck Furey, Vice President, Business Development, Government Relations & Canadian Admissions for SUSOM.
The elective will be led by Chris Sibley, MD, an experienced Canadian dermatologist with extensive knowledge in the related fields of both medical and cosmetic dermatology.Â
Establishing this opportunity reflects SUSOMâs commitment to supporting the next generation of practicing Canadian physicians and enriching the nationâs healthcare system. It is aligned with recent efforts to expand the accessibility of our MD program by allowing eligible Canadians to pay in Canadian dollars (CAD), and increasing the number of elective sites in Canada.
