Manchester University Partnership Agreement

New pathway enhances medical school opportunities for students in Indiana, United States.

Saba University School of Medicine (SUSOM) is proud to share a newly established agreement with Manchester University, one of the top 10 schools in the Midwest for undergraduate teaching (U.S. News & World Report Rankings). This new pathway will benefit Manchester students who plan to become practicing physicians and future healthcare leaders by supporting their journey into SUSOM’s Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.

Successful Manchester graduates who meet the partnership requirements, including achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and MCAT score of at least 492, will receive a $10,000 USD pathway scholarship, a guaranteed admissions interview, and eligibility for up to $105,000 USD in additional grants and scholarships. These benefits help ensure that our accredited MD program education is accessible and a career as a medical doctor is within reach for Manchester students who are passionate about impactful healthcare.

“At Manchester University, we prepare students with a rigorous foundation in the sciences, strengthened by close faculty mentorship and hands-on experiences such as our Medical Practicum,” shared Jeffrey P. Osborne, Director of Biology-Chemistry, Medical Practicum and Medical Laboratory Science Programs at Manchester University. “Grounded in a commitment to improving the human condition and a strong track record of student success in graduate and professional programs, this partnership with Saba University School of Medicine creates a meaningful pathway for our graduates to continue their development as physicians who bring both scientific expertise and compassionate care to their communities.”

Since 1992, 3500+ aspiring medical doctors have completed SUSOM’s 4-year MD program. Graduates have then gone on to hold medical licenses and practice in the U.S., Canada and internationally. Rooted in our commitment to fostering academic and clinical success, our students consistently achieve strong USMLE results and postgraduate residency placement rates.

Notably, this partnership has been established between Manchester University and all three GUS Medical Schools – Saba University School of Medicine, Medical University of the Americas and St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine.
