Financial Aid – Canada

For our 4-Year Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program, eligible Canadian students can access loans through their province of residence (excluding ON, BC and NL). Financial assistance for up to 52 weeks per year is available. For additional requirements, Canadian students should contact their respective provinces directly.

Saba University School of Medicine’s school code is NUBP. For more details, consult the provincial and territorial student financial assistance offices. Refer to the list below for resources for government loans in Canada.

Please note, only Canadian students in the SUSOM MD program are eligible for provincial aid. Students in the Pre-Med Master’s program or Gateway program are not eligible and should consider private loan options if they require financial assistance. For payment plan options, contact our Student Accounts department.

Private Loans: Numerous banks provide student lines of credit to supplement or substitute for the provincial loan alternative. In Canada, some of these banks include CIBC, RBC, TD and BMO, among others.
