Congrats to Our 2025 MD Program Graduates!
We were so proud to celebrate our future physicians at Commencement 2025.
Each year, Saba University School of Medicine (SUSOM), a member of GUS Medical & Veterinary Schools (GUS Med & Vet), is proud to celebrate our brand new MD program graduates at Commencement. In June, the 2025 ceremony was held at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Rhode Island, U.S.
This wonderful event honors years of hard work, growth and dedication on the part of our graduates, and provides faculty, staff and loved ones with an opportunity to celebrate them together.
On behalf of the entire SUSOM and GUS Med & Vet community, we would like to congratulate our newest alumni on their achievements!
We are so proud of what the Class of 2025 has already accomplished, and excited to see what they’ll do next in residency and then throughout their future careers as healthcare experts and leaders.
Notably from this year’s event, the keynote speaker was SUSOM alum Dhanjit Litt, MD, FRCPC, a General Internist, Program Chief & Medical Director at Trillium Health Partners, and Partner and Chief Medical & Wellness Officer at HealthOne. To learn more about him, check out his recent appearance on The White Coat Network Podcast.
Dr. Litt delivered the following message of encouragement and inspiration to graduates and attendees: “I walked across a very similar stage 14 years ago and doing so gave me an opportunity to make my dreams come true. That same opportunity is being handed to you today. I hope that you will accept this next challenge in healing our systems of care – know that through this challenge, you can make your dreams come true!”
We would also like to highlight this year’s student speaker, Aishwarya Bhavsar, MD, who shared: “That voice – the one that speaks with compassion, with clarity and with confidence, is now ours. It is the voice that will comfort the grieving. It is the voice that will advocate for the forgotten. It is the voice that will echo in operating rooms, hospitals and communities. And it carries not just medical knowledge, but the wisdom of the human spirit.”
Thank you to both Dr. Litt and Dr. Bhavsar for their words of wisdom, and congratulations again to all our graduates!
