The Saba – UNF Pathway Program is a unique opportunity for students to earn both a Honours Bachelor of Science and one full year of medical school credits (equivalent to two semesters) towards their Medical Degree at Saba University. Our specialized program guarantees acceptance for UNF graduates into Year 2 of Saba’s Medical School without the need to take the MCAT. Students in this program will benefit from significant financial savings, graduate 8 months ahead of schedule, and start their residency and medical practice sooner.

Program Overview

Start your medical education by pursuing a Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) and seamlessly transition into the MD program at Saba University School of Medicine in the beautiful Caribbean.

Upon successful completion of their BSc Biomedical Sciences degree with a GPA of 3.0 or greater, UNF graduates will gain direct entry into Year 2 of the MD program at Saba University. Our pathway is designed to develop knowledge and clinical skills, providing the opportunity to engage with diverse healthcare systems and practice medicine from a global perspective. The Year 4 courses offered at UNF are equivalent to the Year 1 courses of the MD program at Saba University. This pathway offers students the advantage of starting their medical education in Canada during the final year of their BSc program at UNF.

Academic Requirements

A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required upon completion of your BSc Biomedical Sciences degree at the University of Niagara Falls Canada.
