Congratulations to Dr. Shane Drahos as he nears completion this June of his one year Fellowship at Stanford University in Sleep Medicine. Says Shane, “I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to complete my Sleep Medicine fellowship at Stanford University, which was opened many years ago as the first sleep center in the country. I’ve been able to train with some of the brightest minds in the field, which will certainly help as I begin my career treating veterans at the Orlando, Florida VA Hospital. After being raised in South Florida and completing my undergraduate degree at UCF in Orlando, it has long been a dream of mine to return home following my training. I’m sincerely looking forward to giving back to the patients at the VA who have already sacrificed so much for all of us.”
