Osama Khan is a dual U.S. and Canadian board-certified Anatomical Pathologist who believes that his time at Saba University School of Medicine laid the foundation for his success. Osama was a Health Sciences major in his undergraduate years at McMaster University.
Living in the heart of Silicon Valley, he has developed a passion for modernizing pathology through the use of digital pathology and artificial intelligence for optimizing diagnosis.
"I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to be involved in multiple medical leadership positions during my early career and I hope to utilize these experiences for driving change and making an impact in patient care."
Osama chose Saba because of its "top-quality instructors from around the globe with a strong Canadian presence and a proven track record for matching students back into Canadian and U.S. residencies." On the island Dr, Khan served as class president and was given the distinct honor of delivering the valedictorian address to his graduating peers. He also made life-long friends who are supportive to each other to this day.
"Saba is a great life-long journey, where you learn patience and perseverance. It not only teaches you about medicine, but you grow as a person along the way."
"I am beyond thrilled to start this beautiful journey as a Pathologist. Reflecting on my experience, Saba made my most desired dream come true and taught me the confidence and perseverance to be an outstanding physician."
