Melissa Fox, M.D., has over 10 years experience as a Pediatrician working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has spent most of her career working with students and residents in many different capacities. She has served as the Medical Director of a pediatric inpatient unit and also of a busy urban teaching clinic. She has been involved in many child advocacy projects including prevention of abusive head trauma in infants as well as residency advocacy projects focused on building faculty and resident leadership skills and strengthening advocacy training to better prepare pediatricians to be effective advocates. She has received numerous teaching awards throughout her career, including Pediatric Teaching Attending of the Year.
