Another Saba student helping out during a time of crisis

Ahmed, recently matched Saba student (Emergency Medicine, Brookdale Hospital) shares the following,"Similar to many of my peers, I had a career before I attended Saba. In the last decade, I've worked professionally as an EMT for the largest health system in New York. I was blessed to have immense training and experience in the NYC-911 system, critical care transport, community paramedicine, and HAZMAT response, especially during the Ebola outbreak. I maintained my credentials throughout medical school due to my passion for emergency medicine and my dedication to maintaining the best pre-hospital patient care. As medical school comes to a close and with NY being hit the hardest by COVID-19, I've reached out to my previous employer in picking up hours in the greater NYC area to assist on the frontlines until residency begins in July.
