Honors

As part of its commitment to academic excellence, Saba University School of Medicine rewards the superior academic achievements of its students.

The medical school recognizes outstanding academic performance in the following ways:

Dean’s List

Students whose grade-point average is 3.75 or higher and are full-time students qualify for the Dean's list.

Honor’s List

Students whose grade-point average is 3.50 - 3.74 and are full-time students qualify for the Honor's list.

Awards

The following awards are presented at graduation to outstanding students:

Dean of Basic Science Award: In recognition of the student with the highest academic class average in the Basic Science Division.

Lt. Governor of Saba Award: In recognition of overall academic excellence and contributions to the student body, the medical school and the Saba community.

Dean of Clinical Medicine Award: In recognition of consistently outstanding performance in the clinical science portion of training.
