MASTER OF SCIENCE DEGREE/HYPERBARIC MEDICINE
Introduction
In 1994, the Board of Trustees for SABA University School of Medicine approved the Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Hyperbaric Medicine. Hyperbaric medicine is a growing field with a steadily increasing presence in the hospitals and medical centers in North America. Hospitals, medical centers and free standing treatment programs are utilizing hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy on a variety of patients with very positive results. Graduates will be entering a career field that is growing in demand throughout the world.

The Saba University School of Medicine has a special position among medical schools in its history of involvement in this field of study. The location of the school on Saba, a world-class diving site, makes it a perfect site for the study of hyperbaric medicine.
