BACHELOR OF HEALTH SCIENCE
SABA University believes in a strong, well-rounded general education for all students, which includes a common core of knowledge. It has, therefore, established course requirements for the Baccalaureate Degree that reflects this knowledge base.
 
General Degree Requirements

Any SABA student, who would like to apply for the Baccalaureate Degree, must fulfill the credit hours and grade-point-average requirements. The course requirements are explained below.

  • Hour Requirements - Each student must have earned a minimum of 90 semester/credit hours from an accredited resident senior-level institution or from a two-year college. The total 120 semester hours can be combined with pre-medical coursework and courses taken in the Doctor of Medicine Program at SABA University. The student must maintain an academic average of "C" or better during their matriculation at SABA University.

  • Residency Requirement - Each student must complete the Basic Science Program at SABA University. Only those courses for which the student has registered for and a satisfactory grade has been recorded may be applied towards the degree.

  • Grade-Point-Average Requirement - Credit will not be accepted for courses below C (2.0).
Requirements for the Bachelor of Science Degree
  • A student completing the degree through SABA University must complete the hour requirements, residency requirements and GPA requirements.

  • Applications for the Bachelor of Science degree must be submitted before the fourth semester of the Basic Science Program.

  • Official transcripts from all institutions previously attended must be in the student's record.

  • Applicants must have an overall grade-point-average of 2.0 as calculated by the university grading regulations.

  • The core requirements towards the B.S. degree are explained below.
The Dean of Basic Science must approve any modifications to the General Education requirements.
